Special Education CEO’s Club
The training & advocacy support you need for a wildly successful IEP meeting to get what’s needed & appropriate for your child.
I see you…
  • You're an amazing parent, teacher or caregiver, but when it comes to getting everything that’s individually needed and appropriate for your child… you feel stuck
  • Maybe, you want to become a Special Education Advocate but you’re having a hard time putting theory into practice
  • You know you need to command authority when you enter the IEP meeting room (whether it’s in-person or online), but you keep getting NO’s which make you feel sick to your stomach
  • You’re missing an organized and practical approach to wade through the chaos of the process
  • At the end of the day, you go to bed feeling stressed, defeated and exhausted
I believe it's simply NOT fair to constantly feel like you’re failing your child just because of the school District’s disingenuous tactics
I’ve been where you are!

I understand what it's like to so badly want what’s needed and appropriate for your child, but not being able to clearly communicate it in that overwhelming IEP meeting and get the IEP team on-board.

And I also know how we’re losing good teachers and good staff because of all the stress, pressure and influence being put on them by the school administration.

This is why I've made it my mission to help parents, teachers, caregivers, and aspiring advocates kick ass in that IEP meeting and get the education their child deserves.
Raven knows her stuff when it comes to procedures, protocols, and the law concerning special needs and IEP’s. She has pulled up policies on how my district is supposed to fill out forms and had to teach them in the middle of our IEP. She doesn’t play games and will fight for your child’s rights. She is always looking 10 steps ahead at the big picture to protect you and your child from getting pushed around now and in the long run. She is passionate about what she does and truly cares. She is always there if I have a question or need her advice. I am so glad we made the choice to add her to both my kids IEP team. Trust me you want her on your team!

Ms. Woods is extremely knowledgeable regarding Special Education Policy and Procedures. She is also well versed regarding all laws applicable to Special Education throughout the nation. Her knowledge of the IEP process, rules and regulations regarding said process and the implementation of the IEP is outstanding! She is comparable to Erin Brockovich! Ms.Woods' expertise helped make an extremely difficult IEP tolerable. She completely embodies what it means to be an Advocate for your child.

Special Education CEO’s Club
An intimate support container for parents, teachers, caregivers and aspiring advocates who are sick of fighting the IEP battle alone and are ready to finally create an individualized plan to win for their child.

My intention is for you to kick ass in your child’s IEP meeting without feeling the anxiety that literally makes you sick to your stomach.

This container is going to be a safe space for you to get the training you need, combined with personalized feedback on your child’s individual IEP and coaching to help you navigate the IEP process with confidence.

Your child’s future depends on the kind of stand you take for them TODAY!
Most parents, teachers, caregivers or Special Education Advocates think that they can find all the answers on their own with extensive research.
(Because trust me, I got my PhD in Google when I was looking into Special Education Law, IEPs and more for answers and I learned a ton, but it didn’t help me IN the IEP meeting)
What if you had the knowledge and confidence to take charge of the IEP meeting even if things seem to be out of control?

What if I told you that IEP meetings could be collaborative instead of being a power struggle?

What if you could get the school district and administration to listen to you and pay attention by simply learning how to advocate for your child the right way?

Because the truth is...

Nobody understands your child’s needs the way YOU do!

It is unfortunate, but important to remember that most of the time, the school district and administration just wants to sweep things under the rug, keep the words minimal and the trickery high.

It is YOUR job to advocate for what’s needed and appropriate for YOUR child. You have to be the one to lead the team in order for the IEP meeting to flow and go in the right direction.

That’s why I created the Special Education CEO’s Club.

In it, I combine my extensive training in Behavior, The Science of Reading AND 15+ years of experience of being an IEP Advocate to help you avoid getting bullied or pressured IN the IEP meeting. Instead, learn exactly what to say during intense conversations and how to take back control with your knowledge and confidence.
But Who Am I?
Hi! I’m Raven Woods.

IEP Advocate and a veteran in the Special Education field.

I help parents, teachers, caregivers and anyone who wants to advocate for children with special needs create a winning IEP strategy and get what’s needed & appropriate for the child (instead of letting the school District take the easy way out).

But the thing is…

I haven’t always been a Special Education Advocate & Coach!

Being a parent of a child with Autism and Dyslexia, I was right where you are right now…
  • Constant stress, turmoil and anxiety
  • Sick of lies, deceit and manipulations
  • Never-ending arguments and fights with the IEP team and administrators
  • Sleepless nights and browsing the internet for answers
  • Paper work, IEPs, and data all over my living room floor
It was 6 and a half years of HELL!

Until, enough was enough, so I decided to take charge of my child’s IEP. The rest is history.

In the last 15 years, I’ve…
  • Learned strategies to overcome the games, the manipulations, the bullying and everything else that the school district and the IEP team can do to make you back down along with HOW to gather the proper information to win for the child
  • Turned all of my experience into easy-to-consume courses and programs to help parents become knowledgeable and confident to rock the IEP on their own
  • Attended and successfully advocated thousands of IEP meetings for parents who wanted nothing but what’s right for their child
I can help you too.
Join the Special Education CEO’s Club and learn to successfully advocate for your child, so you can be at peace that your child (or the child you’re advocating for) is getting exactly what is individually needed and appropriate for them to succeed in the educational setting and become a contributing member of the society.
  • Recognize situations when you experience subtle nuances and overtones of disingenuous behavior from IEP team members
  • Identify the district’s purposeful tactics and strategies to delay, deny, and mislead you
  • Realize when district politics are affecting your child’s IEP and be able to address it successfully
In the monthly membership, you will get:
  • 2 LIVE face-to-face training calls on Zoom (3 hours a month) to help you kick ass in your IEP meetings. These training sessions are not just to teach Special Education Law and Parent Rights, it is to teach you how to incorporate these laws in order to take action and WIN in the IEP meeting.

  • Get your questions answered personally by ME to focus on your child’s individual IEP and break all barriers to success.

  • Access to all my stuff; documents, templates, emails, and more that I personally use when advocating for clients.

  • Recordings of all LIVE trainings that you can go back to and listen to in your own time.

  • An online community of like-minded individuals that’s going to be your GO-TO place for support, answers to, "what did I do wrong," discussions and celebrations.

  • Sessions to help you step up your leadership role as an IEP Advocate and take a powerful seat at the IEP table (online or in person).

  • Mindset training on how to not let the school district intimidate you, gaslight you, or make your feel stupid for requesting what your child needs
We will have guest speakers who we know and trust to educate you in their area of expertise; Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, BCBA’s, Attorneys, Parents and more.
Join the Special Education CEO’s Club for continuous training, bounce ideas, and finally be able to create an action plan that works!

You belong to the club if…
  • Your child isn’t making any progress in school and you can't stop wondering “why”.

  • You want to see data and they won't give it to you or just plain ignore you.

  • You know something needs to be done differently in order to create an individualized IEP for your child but you’re having a hard time getting the IEP team and School District to listen to you.

  • The amount of services and how the services are provided are not appropriate yet the school district and the IEP team continue to fight the changes (For example, a non-verbal child being put in a group speech therapy which is simply ridiculous! How can you expect the child to contribute without having any foundation to participate in an adequate way?)
Imagine knowing exactly what to say in your child's IEP meeting in order to get "them" to say YES
  • Imagine fully understanding Special Education Law, your rights and how to utilize them in the IEP meeting to win for the child.
  • Imagine knowing what to say, how to say it and how to respond quickly and effectively during intense conversations.
  • Imagine the IEP team saying "Yes! We'll try that" and a door being opened for collaboration.
  • Imagine having an on-point IEP that serves the child in the most appropriate and individualized way.
Before you go…
I want you to know something!

I’ve been where you are right now and I understand how it’s like to feel unheard and unseen. Despite having the best of intentions, you’re unable to get what your child needs to make progress.

I see you.

I see you struggling, gluing the pieces together yet spinning your wheels. You’ve hit a ceiling and there seems to be no way out.

But let me tell you something, there IS a way out.

You need someone by your side who knows the ins and outs of the IEP process and a community of people who are on the same journey (because this journey can sure be lonely as hell).

Is creating an individualized education plan that’s appropriate for your child + the peace of mind that will come with that worth this small investment?

If YES, then I’m looking forward to seeing you on the other side!
