Services, Accommodations, and Modifications Mini Course!
Imagine walking into your next IEP meeting...

...Feeling confident and prepared to get your child all of the services, accommodations, + modifications they need to achieve educational success, even if that is learning from home this year.

Let me show you how!
•  What if you could get your child all the Services, Accommodations, and Modifications they need?

•  What if you could obtain every service and support your child needs to achieve their highest potential?

•   What if you could learn the key to getting what your child deserves and stop getting the push back?

Are you feeling helpless, not knowing how to advocate for your child in the very best way possible?

Frustrated and at your wits end with the school and their constant denial of what your child needs?

I totally get it!

And IEP Meetings can be SO frustrating!

I used to feel that I failed my daughter and couldn’t get her the services and help she deserved and had a RIGHT to receive.

But as a determined mama and years of trial and error, training, and experience, I learned how to master the IEP process.

Now, at the age of 14, my daughter’s IEP Rocks.

She is getting everything that is needed and appropriate for her and is set up for success.

Now, as the CEO and founder of Autism Mama Rocks the IEP, I help parents gain the knowledge and confidence to become the CEO of their IEP Meeting.

I have figured out the key elements in getting your child what they need and putting a stop to all the frustration and anxiety that goes along with this whole process.

I want to help you master the IEP process as well, sooner rather than later, so that your child can get what is needed and appropriate for them to have educational success.

That’s why I created the Services, Accommodations, and Modifications Mini Course!
Are you ready to:

•  Know the differences between services, accommodations, and modifications?

•  Know what your options are that can help ensure that your child’s needs are met in school.

•  Know the difference between success and failure for a child with disabilities often comes down to
how effectively the curriculum is adapted to their individual and unique needs?

Here’s what you’ll learn, broken down step-by-step so it’s easy to understand:
1). Laws, Placements, and The Common Translations.

2). The Purpose of IDEA and the Nitty Gritty of Related Services, Accommodations, and Modifications.

3). How to identify what your child needs and “The Hierarchy of Accommodations and Modifications.”

4). Determining the most appropriate assessments, testing, and accommodation categories, transition accommodations, and of course, DATA! Specifically, objective data.

5). How to go after what your child needs.

What if you could get your child all the Services, Accommodations, and Modifications they need?

When a child does not get what is needed and appropriate for them, failure is inevitable.

I'll see you on the inside.

Hey there!

I am Raven Woods, I am the CEO and founder of Autism Mama Rocks the IEP. I help parents gain the knowledge and confidence to become the CEO of their IEP Meeting.

I am a previous educator with a dual Masters degree in Education and Educational Leadership and hold a certificate in Special Education Advocacy from William and Mary Law School. I have done it all pretty much other than representing parents IN court. For the most part I advocate for parents in and out of IEP meetings, and in mediations.  However, I have worked side by side with many lawyers and administrative judges.

Seems like a dream, doesn’t it?

I was where you are, feeling overwhelmed, scared, like a failure, and my anxiety was through the roof! I did not know what to do or what else to do.

I have been there and I GET IT!

I felt over and over again that I failed my daughter and couldn’t get her, not only what was needed and appropriate, for her, but what she deserved and had a RIGHT to receive.

I thought I knew my stuff from getting my Ph.d in google research on my child’s disability, special education, IEPs, and the law. (Just kidding, there is no such thing as a Ph.d in google but you get what I am saying:)

However, this hard work did not teach me how to go into my child’s IEP meeting and become the CEO, or how to properly present, persuade and negotiate.

I can promise you, I’VE GOT YOUR BACK!

Not only have I been there, but I have learned through training and most of all, by trial and error, how to master the IEP process.

With 20 years experience working with children and 13 years experience as an IEP advocate, and disability expert, together we will Rock it!

Finally, at the age of 15, my daughter’s IEP Rocks. She is getting everything that is needed and appropriate for her and is set up for success.

I want to help you master the IEP process as well, sooner rather than later, so that your child can get what is needed and appropriate for them to have educational success.

How did I finally do this you ask?

By trial and error, training and experience, being a determined mama and taking action! I do not want you wasting the 6 and a half years that I did, trying to navigate and figure this all out, and in the midterm, our kiddos not getting everything needed, appropriate and deserved.

I put it all on the table for you, in my unique system, so that you are knowledgeable and confident to become the CEO of your IEP meeting so that you can ®PPPN, Plan/Prepare, Present, Persuade, and if you have to Negotiate your case—bottom line... getting it done!
