There are three ways to work with me!

Preparing for an IEP OR Need an IEP Revamp? The goal is to have a Rockin IEP, written right, with the right verbiage, and SMART goals that will meet your child’s needs in the most appropriate way, PLUS have high expectations, not low expectations. This requires the knowledge know how, of how the IEP should be written for an individual child, and their individual needs, catching the trick wording, and making sure it works for you, not against you. Not one IEP is the same. My job is to work with you in creating a well written IEP, that you can email to the IEP team, or take into your IEP meeting, ready to go.

Preparing or Revamping includes:
Two hours of planning, editing and drafting a good and solid IEP for your child and their individual needs.

Some situations involve a discussion in advance and can be emailed to: support@autismmamarockstheiep.com

*If additional time is needed it will be charged at a separate discounted hourly rate of $79.99.

Figuring out the right words in sending any type of email can be difficult, especially when you must keep emotions out of the email. As parents, we put a ton of emotion into our emails regarding out children which is normal, but it works against us. Being clear, and to the point is the key. Requesting important documentation from the school, requesting evaluations, re evaluations, records and more, can cause the school to respond in a negative way, when you are simply asking for what is within your rights to request!

Save yourself hours of time and headache, by handing over your email writing to me: Raven Woods, and take advantage of my years of experience with writing up emails that make sure you get the response you want and avoid all the BS.

Email writing includes: A 45-60 min. planning session with the parent in regards to the email needing written, the review of documents together, and then my writing 1 email with everything that was discussed, that will include one edit, and one response back. 2 Hours total.

Hey there!

I am Raven Woods, I am the CEO and founder of Autism Mama Rocks the IEP. I help parents gain the knowledge and confidence to become the CEO of their IEP Meeting.

Seems like a dream, doesn’t it?

I was where you are, feeling overwhelmed, scared, like a failure, and my anxiety was through the roof! I did not know what to do or what else to do.

I have been there and I GET IT!

I felt over and over again that I failed my daughter and couldn’t get her, not only what was needed and appropriate, for her, but what she deserved and had a RIGHT to receive.

I thought I knew my stuff from getting my Ph.d in google research on my child’s disability, special education, IEPs, and the law. (Just kidding, there is no such thing as a Ph.d in google but you get what I am saying:)

However, this hard work did not teach me how to go into my child’s IEP meeting and become the CEO, or how to properly present, persuade and negotiate.

I can promise you, I’VE GOT YOUR BACK!
Not only have I been there, but I have learned through training and most of all, by trial and error, how to master the IEP process.

With 19 years experience working with children and 13 years experience as an IEP advocate, and disability expert, together we will Rock it!

Finally, at the age of 14, my daughter’s IEP Rocks. She is getting everything that is needed and appropriate for her and is set up for success.

I want to help you master the IEP process as well, sooner rather than later, so that your child can get what is needed and appropriate for them to have educational success.

How did I finally do this you ask?

By trial and error, training and experience, being a determined mama and taking action! I do not want you wasting the 6 and a half years that I did, trying to navigate and figure this all out, and in the midterm, our kiddos not getting everything needed, appropriate and deserved.

I put it all on the table for you, in my unique system, so that you are knowledgeable and confident to become the CEO of your IEP meeting so that you can ®PPPN, Plan/Prepare, Present, Persuade, and if you have to Negotiate your case—bottom line... getting it done!
